💡The Idea💡
Two years ago I started to create my own mini series of trading cards. People really seemed to like them and I started to produce the cards in small amounts to give them away with orders. As I started to see people actually collecting them I thought “How can I expand on this on a larger scale and include more people?” I collected old marvel cards and loved seeing a bunch of my favorite artists come together for a series.

Let’s do the same, but use the industry I am in with all the talented Creatives already kicking ass making amazing art and newcomers making a name for themselves! We have so many fans looking for a new way to collect their favorite artists and discover new ones every day!

This is where “The Creatives” come in *insert Armageddon style slow motion group walk of artists 😆*
Over 50 AMAZING artists are in the series to create a minimum of three new limited pieces of art for you to collect. Think about it, with Cons and shows opening up you now have something an artist can finally sign and cherish.
As you all know, I fund all of my insane art projects with my ‘Art’, but this particular project will take more than that. This is why I thought crowdfunding was a great opportunity for me. You guys can help produce something AMAZING and much needed.

Red Nose Day is a campaign to end child poverty, one nose at a time. Through the power of entertainment, Red Nose Day raises money and awareness to ensure children who need our help the most are safe, healthy and educated in America and around the world.

A couple of examples how Red Nose Fund helps:
$250 can help provide at least 2500 meals secured by Red Nose Grantee Partner Feeding America on behalf of local member food banks.
$500 can help pay for medical supplies for 100 doctor’s visits on mobile health clinics.
$1,000 could help fill bookshelves for 10 out-of-school children in rural areas, where many don’t own a single book.
We will be able to donate so much more than that if we hit our goal.
The Nitty Gritty
The Creatives Series 1 is a premium artist and collector trading card set produced by the RedGuardian Brand. Artist cards are similar to traditional trading cards, with a major difference. One side of the card is completely new by one of many talented artists! Artists use a variety of mediums including acrylic, watercolor, oil, art marker, and many others. All cards have the artist name, location, bio and stats like a baseball card. The result is a unique piece of artwork, the size of a standard trading card!
Every pack contains 6 cards. You would get 3 base cards + 1 cold foil + 50% of the packs would have one of the special cards or another base.
What are ‘special’ cards? Special cards are a patterned foil card, a DIY card, 3D lenticular card and more randomly inserted in Packs. Special cards vary in rarity and quantity, making the collection of chase card sets an exciting addition to the series.
What happens if we are fully funded?
The cards get made! Of course our first task will be to deliver our backers' rewards.
Once we've done that, whatever packs are left over will be available for purchase in an online store. There is a possibility for these to be offered in brick-and-mortar locations, but those conversations won't really kick off unless and until this project is funded.
Risks and challenges
We want to be sure we can get cards printed and packaged at the level of quality we would expect from any professional trading card. We have already been in contact with a printing company that we know can handle the kind of printing, packaging, and rarity tier system that we will need to fully realize our concept. We've gotten quotes, we've handled samples, and we are confident about the responsiveness of these printers should any issues arise. We have experience packaging and shipping artwork, and fully expect a very professional production. We don't think the cards themselves or the rewards will present any challenges we can't handle! That said, there is always a chance that something unforeseen occurs, and there is some delay in printing or shipping. We will communicate clearly with our backers as promptly as possible should something like this happen, and we have no doubt that we will be able to address any problems in a reasonably timely fashion.
In the usual ‘RedGuardian’ kind of way, everyone knows I love to give value to collectors. As we break goals I will be adding more and more value at no additional expense to you as a thank you 😊
